Saturday, October 19, 2024 | 7:30 a.m. | Stewarts Creek Park, The Colony, Texas, 75056

Registration for The Colony Shoreline Trail 5K (TC Shoreline Run), previously known as The Colony Half Marathon and Green Dragon Five Miler, is now open. Join us this year to run through the beautiful Shoreline Trail in The Colony, Texas, at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024. It’s a flat course, great scenery, even better weather and free post-run beer! Proceeds benefit UT Southwestern to support cancer research. About 60 percent of this race will take place on The Colony's Shoreline Trail, a crushed granite trail that overlooks the beautiful Lake Lewisville.

About the TC Shoreline race

The TC Shoreline Run is a 5K (3.1 miles) race taking place in The Colony, Texas, a suburb north of Dallas. This volunteer-led event brings in nearly 1,000 runners each year, and proceeds benefit UT Southwestern, to researching and finding a cure for cancer. More than 60 percent of the 3.1-mile course runs along The Colony Shoreline Trail on beautiful Lake Lewisville. Runners will enjoy a gently undulating, crushed granite trail in a picturesque and natural setting that promises a memorable race experience for all.

We will offer several water stops throughout the course to ensure you’re hydrated. Runners will also receive a classic cotton tee shirt and participant medal commemorating the race.

Sponsors and vendors

We could not put on our event without the support of our local businesses in The Colony and surrounding areas. In 2023, more than 600 runners participated in our race and an additional several hundred spectators gathered to watch. Since the race’s inception, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised for UT Southwestern thanks to our event. All sponsorship contributions are tax deductible.

Do good by supporting this worthy cause and put your brand in front of runners from all over the United States. All sponsors will receive race day recognition, logo on the t-shirt, discounted race entries for staff, opportunity for a booth and more. Contact us at thecolonyroadrunnersclub@gmail.com to learn more about our sponsorship package.
